Game time

I am so excited about this coming weekend, we are taking the whole family down to see LSU play Auburn. This will be Drew's first time in Death Valley! Avery is going to Baton Rouge with us but not going to the game, I think she is too little for some crazy Tiger football :) I will for sure post some pictures :) This is Drew and my dad last year watching LSU play. My family are HUGE LSU fans, always have been and always will be :)

The Petting Zoo

Today was such a fun day, my great aunt wanted to take the kids to this new petting zoo that's down the street from our house. Her church was having family day there and she wanted to bring all of her family :) We took Drew and Avery and they had so much fun! Well, Avery didn't know what was going on, but Drew sure did! At first he was a little scared but it didn't take him long to warm up.

Andy helping Drew on the ponies, he only liked this for a few minutes :)

Drew giving his sweet cousin, Maggie, a kiss
Drew sliding down the slide, he went down that slide 100 times! :)

crossing the road

The other day I was headed to a funereal, Andy was out of town, so I was driving by myself. I met my parents there and we had to park across the road because of the limited parking spaces, it was a 4 lane road and my parents were walking about 10 yards in front of me and as my dad was crossing the road he said "come on michelle, you got it", well with out even looking for cars I just ran across trying to hurry and catch up with them. And as I was sitting in the church waiting for the service to start, I started to think, ya know, thats how God wants us to be. Without looking I crossed a 4 lane road and trusted my dad that the coast was clear and that I could cross, I didnt ask him questions or look both ways, I just went for it. And in our spiritual life thats how we should be. When God ask us to do something, we should. We shouldnt ask questions or wonder whats going to happen, we should just trust Him. If I can trust my earthly father and not ask questions than I should trust my Heavenly Father even more. Sometimes I catch myself asking God questions....."whats gonna happen", "why do you want me to do this", "what is going to come from this", etc.....but it shouldnt be that way. When God wants us to do something we should trust in Him and know that He is guiding our path. Its pretty awesome to me, how awesome God is :) He wants whats best for us :) Sometimes we choose our own path but God will always have His path waiting for us.

I would like to leave you with some pictures, I havent posted pictures in so long, I tell myself every day that I am going to do better at this blog thing, but I never do :)
